Nansen Dialogue Center (NDC) Mostar, a non governmental organisation, promoting dialog, protection of human rights, tolerance and understanding, was the implementator of the reconstruction of a new activity classroom for the students of Stolac High School. The students are divided on ethnicity level and there is a practice of two schools under one roof at Stolac High School.
Activities for both ethnicities
- I am very happy to be here and see that the project is done. I would also like to thank the school’s staff, the rector and the teachers involved, as well as NDC Mostar and the students of Stolac High School. We will continue to support the best we can, but it is up to you to fill the classroom with activities and better your situation, said the Ambassdor, Jan Braathu, at the opening of the classroom on the 10th March.
Entertainment at the opening
The students at the Stolac High School performed different greetings of European countries, demonstrating the Bosnian way of meeting a friend on the street, resulting in what else than a visit to the ćevapdžinica. Singing and a short violin concert were also a part of the entertainment for the grand opening. The Ambassador was also interviewed by young and aspiring journalists for the school paper, also a multiethnic project at the school.
