New multimedia room in Srebrenica

On September 15, the inhabitants of Srebrenica welcomed with joy the new mulitmedia room at the National library of Srebrenica.

There has been a strong necessity in Srebrenica to create an open space where children and youth can come together and share views, opinions and knowledge. The room will also be used as a study- and meetingroom for students and local organisations.

The new multimedia room is equiped with 5 new computers, printer and scanner. There is also free access to Internet Explorer. Those present, among them many children, had the pleasure to watch the short movie “I’m from Srebrenica” directed by Ado Hasanović and Vedrana Kočević.

The new multimedia room was financed by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Sarajevo.
