Through a UNDP-led project 26 households in the Srebrenica Municipality have during the last 3 years been connected to the electricity network in the region. The aim of the project is to provide electricity to over 220 households with returnees from Srebrenica, Foca, Visegrad and Rogatica.

The 2011 Dusko Kondor Civil Courage Award was recently hosted in Sarajevo. The ceremony which was held at the Bosnian Cultural Center gathered over 600 vistors, including school students from all over BiH. The award was held in commemoration of Professor Kondor, and 4 laureates were celebrated for their brave and pivotal efforts in the gravest of times.

Norwegian Ambassador Jan Braathu, together with representatives from the Nansen Dialogue Centre (NDC) in Sarajevo recently visited Jajce municipality. The main emphasis of the stay was education and future development in the region, issues on which the Ambassador attached great importance.

The Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) situated in Travnik has since its beginning successfully trained more than 5500 military personnel. This number constitutes more than half of BIH’s current armed forces, and the contribution made by TRADOC is as such a pivotal one.
