With the Norwegian National Day on the 17th May, Danish on the 5th June and Swedish on the 6th June, the three embassies traditionally invited guests, politicians and representatives from various organisations and institutions to a reception at the National Museum.
The ambassadors greeted the guests at the entrance and gave a warm welcome to everyone.
Several hundred guests enjoyed wine and Scandinavian food, while listening to music played by the orchestra Tutti Stolac.

17th May is celebrated throughout the whole of Norway, with children, men and women dressed in national suits, called bunad in Norwegian.
The National Day is a non-working day and typically the whole family will have breakfast together, join the town parade and enjoy some ice-cream or hot dogs.
