Kon-Tiki tells the story about the expedition of legendary Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl and his crew across the South Seas to the Easter Islands. Onboard a simple raft named Kon-tiki, they set out on the open seas in 1947, set on proving that Polynesia could have been settled from South America in pre-Columbian times. Along the way they find themselves face to face with the harsh and spectacular sides of nature.

The screening was followed by a Q&A with actors Anders Baasmo Christiansen and Odd-Magnus Williamson. The actors answered questions from an eager audience regarding the historical correctness of the film, the shooting of the film and how the film was received by the Norwegian audience when it premiered in 2012.

The event was a huge success and broke a new audience record for Meeting Point Cinema! The venue was filled to the max, with people sitting on the floor or turned down at the door.

Actors Anders Baasmo Christiansen and Odd-Magnus Williamson expressed great interest in BiHs history before they arrived in Sarajevo, and spent an extra day exploring Sarajevo and its outskirts. They also visited the Embassy, where they were briefed on the current political and economic situation.
