Teater NOR will perform at Sarajevo Winter Festival

Monday 12 March the Norwegian theater group Teater NOR will perform the play “Lost on Purpose” at the Sarajevo Winter Festival.

The performance raises questions related to human life. The first-person singular is in focus and is debated. Questions concerning the challenging and developing of your own self understanding are being asked. The play aims at visualising what is human as it meets the inhuman. Further, the relationship between the outer world and the inner self is emphasised.

The performance is a highly visual experience, as Teater NOR projects lights through prisms and crystal, combined with sound.

Teater NOR conducts this experiment live on stage and lets the reflections of the different spectres of light and sound define the space. The different elements live their own life on stage, based on physical, chemical and psychological laws.

The poetic texts are written by the Scottish author John Burnside. He reads his own texts. The music is composed by Fred Jonny Berg. Philosopher Anniken Greve has helped develop the conceptual problems and written the text "An inner life in an outer world".

The performance can be enjoyed at Dom Policije, Monday 12 March at 20:00. The ticket costs 8 KM. The performance language is English.
