Tutti Concert in Mostar

The Norwegian Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) supported the concert initiated by the Norwegian marching band from Trondheim (Grenadekorpset). The concert attracted artists from the Western Balkan region and Norway and was held at the famous Spanish Square in Mostar.

Tutti 2008 is a project initiated by the Norwegian Granaderkorpset (marching band) from Trondheim. The project gathered children from the whole Balkan region and Norway to practice playing together for the big concert which was held in Mostar 04 July.

The project is an initiative started by Inge Danielsen who is a board member in the marching band in Trondheim. Danielsen has worked as a city planner in several towns in Bosnia-Herzegovina which were destroyed during the war in the 1990s. His vision with Tutti 2008 is to reconcile the youth in the Balkans through music.

The concert was held between the two ethnically divided sides in Mostar, at the Spanish square. Participants at the concert were also well known artists from Norway and BiH such as the Brazz Brothers, Banglos and Mostar Sevdah Reunion.

The concert was a big success having attracted a lot of people both from Norway and the Balkans.
