Once again the Norwegian Embassy participated in the annual International Literature Festival in Tuzla. This time with an even bigger focus on Norwegian literature and a donation of a Book package: A collection of 26 Norwegian books translated to local languages. The festival itself took place from September 3rd to September 6th 2009.

23-year old Alexander Rybak charmed the whole of Europe and won the Eurovision Song Contest with his performance of Fairytale. “I had a story I wanted to tell, and it seems to have hit home,” an extremely happy Alexander commented.

Neum Animated Film Festival 2008

NAFF 2008 is an Animated Film Festival held annually in Neum, Bosnia & Herzegovina (B&H). The festival gathers children from the whole B&H to be taught about animation art by international professionals. 180 animated films from all over the world are presented during the festival.

The Norwegian Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) supported the concert initiated by the Norwegian marching band from Trondheim (Grenadekorpset). The concert attracted artists from the Western Balkan region and Norway and was held at the famous Spanish Square in Mostar.
