The intention of the collaboration is capacity building of BATA and support in terms of development of quality systems and training of staff.
Norwegian Accreditation is to support BATA in order to determine whether their quality system for handling of accreditation of laboratories, certification and inspection bodies satisfiers the requirement of international standard ISO/IEC 17011 or not.
At the same time, the project is to accredit testing and calibration laboratories in BiH in order to satisfy the requirement of the Norwegian Company, Bjørge AS, which products fabricated in BiH will be exported among other countries to the European Union. This activity will be used to provide training of the staff of BATA.
Bjørge AS provides products and services within maintenance of the oil-, gas-, land- and maritime industry.
