Developing sustainable responses to violence against women and children.
The purpose of the project is to improve access and quality of services for those at risk and victims of gender-based violence, child-abuse exploitation and trafficking. The results are expected to be a strengthened governmental and non-governmental policy making and coordination on violence against women and children. An increased awareness on domestic violence and gender-based violence and trafficking among government and NGO professionals at local levels and enhanced communication between professionals and strengthened case management skills.
An increased NGO capacity is also expected to provide sustainable services to victims of domestic and gender-based violence. There should be a wider awareness on violence against women and children and trafficking among general population and women and children at risk
