The Embassy has been supporting the Sarajevo Film Festival for several years, and this year, three Norwegian movies, "Bare Bea (Only Bea)", "Sniffer" and "Den brysomme mannen (The troublesome man)" was screened at the festival.
The Festival was a great success with high numbers of visitors and a broad spectre of movies. The movies and the Festival itself are available for all citizens in BiH, thereby creating a sense of ownership and pride for the Festival. Other movies that was shown, was "Iraq in Fragments", "Road to Guantanamo", and movies that evolved around social topics such as trafficking in "The Melon Route" and sex in "Only Bea".
