Medica's Women's Therapy Centre is a centre with woman-friendly approaches in therapy and support. Group of clients are mainly victims of violence, war trauma victims and refugees, IDP's, returnees, minorities and Romany population. Elements of the programme are psychosocial support, counselling, residential accommodation and therapeutic treatment for women and children, child care for children accommodated in Medica facilities as well as for children from poverty-stricken families, outreach assessment and therapy, medical services and support, and violence prevention work in the local communities. Medica Zenica cooperates with UNICEF and Save the Children as well as other local organisations.
