The general objective of the project is to increase the knowledge and skills of European human rights standards among legal professionals through training activities - leading to an effective implementation of these standards at the national level. Specific objectives are to improve judges and prosecutors knowledge and practical skills in European human rights standards and increase their use of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) in national legal proceedings in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aim of the project is also to strengthen the capacity of lawyers working in the field of human rights to act as multipliers of knowledge, leading to better implementation of the ECHR at the national level.
