The funding is to be used for mine clearance and mine related activities in Sarajevo, Tuzla, Travnik, Pale, Bihac, Brcko and the Posavina corridor. The activities will be done in cooperation with the Bosnian mine centre (BHMAC). The goal is to reduce the negative consequences that landmines and other explosives (UXO) might have for the population, as well as improving the situation for returnees. The project is also to assist Bosnian government in meeting international requirements and to contribute to the development of the country.
