The NATO Trust Fund is a Partnership for Peace (PfP) financial mechanism established to fund the project which objective is to facilitate the financial independence of Redundant Defence Personnel discharged from the BiH armed forces in 2004 and 2006/2007 with priority given to those discharged in 2006/2007, and to assist them in their transition to civilian life through education, vocational counselling and training, referrals and the provision of tool kits/equipment or self-employment.
The project will consist of an information campaign, registration and profiling of eligible personnel, counselling and referral services, educational and employment assistance as stated in the NATO Trust Fund Proposal. The Executing Agent for the project is the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) which is responsible for the technical and financial aspects of the project as established in the Executing Agent Arrangement. The Executing Agent will make regular reports with regard to the implementation of the project which should be made available to the donor.
