The EU accession process is the main driving force behind judicial reform in BiH and the Norwegian support to the reform process has been harmonized with the short and medium term priorities of the second European Partnership which identifies priorities for action in the justice sector in BiH. Furthermore, the request for support has taken into account the current draft version of the Multi-Annual Indicative Planning Document (MIPD) 2007 – 2009 for the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA), as well as the HJPC Strategy and ongoing activities in the field of judiciary and prosecution in BiH.
This year’s funding is a continuation of previous support to the HJPC as the main element of Norwegian support to judicial reforms in Bosnia Herzegovina. The funding of this year is given in one package and consists of several sub-projects which all are given as a priority from the HJPC.
