Anti-Trafficking

The Caritas organisation is working to fight human trafficking in Bosnia Hercegovina, through awareness campagens and by bringing the national actors, working on the subject matter, together to build a common strategy on anti-trafficking.

The project's objectives are to reduce human trafficking and to prompt the development of a common strategy in co-operation with national NGOs. Caritas will work to raise the awareness in the civil society in Bosnia Herzegovina on the fight against human trafficking. Their focus will be on national NGOs. By bringing together all the actors on this field, in a common network, they hope to strengthen their capacities, strengthen co-operation and develop a common strategy to involve the civil and public authorities. Caritas Norway will co-operate with Caritas Mostar, Caritas Banja Luka, Caritas Vrhbosna and Catholic Relief Services in their work.
